We have had to cancel our Para fundraiser quiz due to Joyce needing plenty of rest and recovery.
However there will be a small tombola next weekend to raise money instead

This is to help our ex forces when they hit hard times.

Unfortunately we've had issues with the pumps today while trying to get them cleaned.

So while we will be open, we wont have any draft options this weekend.

After this weekend we may have to close again until its resolved.

Finally home and getting looked after! I can get used to having tea brought to me in bed!

Just wanted to say that pub is reopening tomorrow 5-11 with Callum Meechan kindly stepping in to help.

We will be open Sunday usual time of 3pm and then we'll be looking at temporary adjusting hours over the next few weeks.

We will keep you all informed of the updates.

Due to my silly fall earlier in the week (not due to sampling our products!) the pub will be closed tonight. We will likely be closed until I am home next week, although I will not be on duty for a while. We will update you all regarding opening again as soon as we decide the best approach going forward.
I'm doing well and thank everyone for their well wishes.

I would like to express my appreciation to all those who helped me during my recent illness. There is no doubt I would have struggled, so thank you.

I would like to also thank those who helped over Bonfest 26 weekend when I was unable to meet previous visitors and new ones. It was unfortunate timing!

It is times such as these that your true friends appear. I am quite humbled by those and their willingness to help in any shape or form.
Thank you all.

I must thank all who asked after me and offered assistance, too.

It is hard to accept assistance at times, but it can be the correct action to help when you are knocked for 6!
