If you haven’t been to one of our open mic nights yet, why not??!! Another fantastic evening with Ben and Tixi’s Open Mic Nights here at The Bricklayers Arms Kingston. With the exception of last night, open mic is held every Saturday from 8pm - 11pm!

Where does the time go?? Busy behind the scenes as always, a reminder to save the date for Friday the 19th June when we play host to “Reggae Bash” a fantastic, live 6-piece band.

Classic old reggae from artist such as John Holt, Jimmy Cliff, T***s and the Maytals, Desmond Dekker, Bob Marley and the wailers, The Jamaicans, Alton Ellis, Derrick Harriott, Gregory Isaac and more.

Can’t tell you how excited we are for this one!

WELL what a busy week we have had! We had a wonderful turn out for our Bank Holiday fun day. Everyone enjoyed the music from the one and only Billy Cheer (still in shock that we were finally able to book him 😅), the BBQ was smoking all day with thanks to our son Charnie and of course the BBQ connoisseur Casper Fotheringham.
We also had a fantastic fundraising raffle for Kingston Hospitals Born Too Soon charity and managed to raise a fantastic £400. So far that is a whopping £880 raised and it wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic prizes donated to us for the cause. For this we can thank, Steve Owens, , Lou , Annemarie , , Charnie, Jade Brown and Jason of Collard Demolition.
NOW stay tuned for all the up and coming events. We have live bands, DJs and karaokes all in the line up and let’s not forget our Ben and Tixi’s Open Mic Nights every Saturday from 8pm!
