Posting from my sickbed here (no funny guesses as to what i have) and due to that unfortunate situation i am loath to announce that for one night only, as a special "because i can't organise a doorman" treat; Comedy Upstairs is FREE!!

That's right, five fantastic acts and one amazing MC all for the price of air. And simply because i have no way of stopping you. You lucky devils you, so why don't you pop down to the cricketers and see what you were missing.

Tonight at Comedy Upstairs we have the fantastic Rick Murtagh, the profane Jamali Maddix, the magical JT hanbury and the wonderful Murray Porter.

And to close the show, warming up for his television performance tomorrow, it's him off the telly; Joe Rowntree!

Happy Sunday to you lovely lot. I know it's the end of the weekend and you can't wait until Tuesday, but here is one more reason to get pumped for the week ahead - COMEDY UPSTAIRS!

We've got a great line up billed, a fab evening and a hell of a lot of laughs. So, while you watch 'Songs Of Praise' don't forget, there is stuff to look forward to

Quiet night last night at Comedy Upstairs but the fantastic acts overcame that.

Big thanks to Dave Chawner for MCing and Chris Cantrill, Ben Shires, India Macleod, Jonny Emmett, Fred Ferenzi and Oli Bettesworth for performing. And of course my extended family for being the audience.
