A silly side project from the autumn 🐧

Super proud of my cousin, Mark Tuttiett for representing the South West on the this year.

Each dish inspired by a film set in the south west of England, and Wallace & Gromit was an excellent choice. Mark set me the challenge to create a neoprene Feathers McGraw to dispense the consommé part of the dish… an interesting creative challenge but so very fun!

is hosting a free family activity day on 21 February, 10:30am to 3:30pm, as part of its ‘Echoes of War’ exhibition at the Civic Centre, .

Families can take part in fun Make Do and Mend sewing workshops with , explore authentic WWII artefacts, and listen to recorded local stories from the Home Front. Come along to discover and interact with a ‘talking’ Morrison shelter by artist .

A creative, educational and inspiring day out packed with fun activities for all ages.

I know it’s cold & rainy season but really wanted to use these new fabrics from ☀️ and also they match perfectly with some 80s vintage beach fabric that I had - ideal beach bag lining!

🧵 Free family events bringing WWII history to life in Esher this February. Step back in time with as we host two free family activity days linked to our new ‘Echoes of War’ exhibition at the Civic Centre, .

📅 Saturday 7 and 21 February
⏰ 10:30am to 3:30pm

Get hands-on with wartime-inspired activities for all ages, including:
✂️ ‘Make Do and Mend’ sewing with to make a headband or a bow tie
📦 ration box activities
🛩️ fly your own paper Spitfire plane
🧳 handling authentic WWII artefacts
🎧 Local Home Front audio stories
and full access to the ‘Echoes of War’ exhibition and soundscape installation by artist
All materials provided but feel free to bring old clothing or fabric scraps to upcycle.
