post punk and student anthems from the halcyon days 80's through to the late 90's, for many it will be a trip down memory lane, and for others, a voyage of discovery through the genres including Punk, Indie, Rock, Hip Hop, Indie dance, Metal, 80's Synth Pop, Post Punk, Goth, Grunge, Baggy, Ska, Rock n Roll, Rave, Reggae....basically some of the coolest sh*t that you've ever heard....... with probably the most knowledgeable and experienced DJ's in this field, it's a night not to miss.....dance your socks off.....are you part of the crowd! Who's coming out to join us tonight for the final week of celebration of the mighty The New Adelphi Club's 40th Anniversary. We have a member of the 3rd ever band to walk through the doors and grace the stage (The Housemartins), and he was also a founding member of one of the most loved and legendary Adelphi bands - The Gargoyles. It is the great Ted Key + ViPs , with guest band, all the way from Carlisle, 99 Mr Bens which features the singer of the band that supported The Housemartins in Carlisle in 1985, and as Homage to the opening in 1984, we have made the tickets 1984 prices so you have a few hours left to get one for just £1.50.
