AND THE AWARD GOES TO… 🥇

South Hams Drinks for the Sherman. A GOLD in the International Brewing Awards 2026.

After three days of the most rigorous and renowned competition judging the results are in. And it’s safe to say that being in a list of the best beers and ciders in the world is a serious achievement for us.

Often dubbed the Oscars of the brewing industry, this oldest competition in the world is judged by a panel of commercially practising brewers and cidermakers who certainly know their drinks and that’s a fact; tasting entries from as far afield as Sweden, Cambodia and here in South Devon, of course!

It does seem the Sherman just keeps on winning… here’s to another one for this mighty magnificent ‘golden’ ale. 🍻

And we are back in the running for this year's Society of Independent Brewers - SIBA big event… 👍

It all takes place at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool 18th & 19th March. 🍻The Sherman will be pouring alongside a host of other worthy contenders. Hopes are high! Watch this space…

INTERNATIONAL BREWING GOLD! 🥇

The team are full up with and who can blame them… as it’s just been revealed that the Sherman has been awarded GOLD in the International Brewing Awards 2026.

These awards have been around for a long, long time, since 1886 in fact, and often dubbed the Oscars of the brewing industry! Sam better get his speech written and there may be tears of joy at the podium… watch this space.

Thank you everyone – it seems the Sherman just keeps on winning… think a minor celebratory glass might be in order. 🍻
