A warm welcome to the Hare & Hounds Great Addington, our community pub which has been at the heart of the village since the mid 18th century. Situated in an Idyllic area of Northamptonshire countryside. Real fire at the Hare and Hounds Great Addington - a traditional country pub in the heart of east Northamptonshire. The building is Grade 2 listed and still shows off its wonderful character from t

he outside. Inside however you will find the traditional combined with the contemporary with a fresh and relaxed ambiance. Real wood burning fires, a skittles table and recently refurbished bar and restaurant all give the Hare and Hounds warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. In June of 2014 a group of villagers took over management of the pub to ensure its existence. This has led to a new ethos within the pub and the locals to ensure the Village never loses its historic pub. Many villagers have volunteered their time and money to bring the Hare and Hounds back to its former glory. Since then our Landlady, Holly, has continued to help develop this local pub into the centrepiece of the village. The pub is a free house and we do our best to offer a wide and changing range of real ales from £3 a pint, along with an excellent selection of lagers, ciders and Guinness. The restaurant area has wooden tables with rich high backed leather chairs for a more formal dining experience. We have a varying selection of meals available running on different ‘Feature Food Nights’, please check out ‘Our Menus’ for up-to-date information on our food nights. Our pub offers great party packages from just £300 which includes a finger buffet for up to 60 people and disco. We also off other packages ideal for all kinds functions including weddings and Christenings. Watch out for our Theme nights which are great fun and sell out quickly! These have included Bourbon and Irish whiskey tasting nights and a Caribbean themed night! As well as all the favourite Halloween and New Years Celebrations. The Hare and Hounds pub boasts a large car park, Beer garden and secure grassed play area with slides and climbing frames so families can enjoy a drink or meal whilst the children play safely.
