The Carters Rest Jedburgh - New Nestled in the heart of Jedburgh The Carters Rest is a 55 cover restaurant & bar situated across from Jedburgh's historic Abbey.

Food is served between 12 noon - 7pm. Our function room can cater for 70/80 covers. We have a spacious bar and beer garden.

The wonderful Mary Queen of Scots Visitor Centre is back open! It's always a nice things to share, knowing that the long winter is behind us. A great place to visit, with free entry, to learn more about the history of Mary Queen of Scots and her connection to Jedburgh.

We are please to announce that the Jedburgh Tree Festival will take place from Saturday 29th November until Friday 13th December.

With a Preview Evening on Friday 28th November, where we open the doors and welcome you to the Parish Church after the town tree light switch for an evening of festive entertainment and refreshments amongst the beautifully decorated trees.
