From the moment you pull up outside and then enter the Drovers Inn you just know that you are experiencing something truly unique. You can simply sense three centuries of Scottish hospitality. Within, you can truly feel the history of the people who have passed through; the ghosts are in

the walls, generation of tails in the air. The Drovers Inn is an old inn used by the Highland drovers who used to drive their cattle down the side of Loch Lomond to the markets. The décor and furniture, in deference to the past, look as though they have not been changed or altered for a couple of hundred years. As you enter the reception hall you are faced by a full grown, stuffed grizzly bear, an assortment of other animals and the assured feeling that this place is going to stay in your consciousness for a long time to come!

Something to brighten your evening after a grey day. At 9pm, local (and Haarlem) legend Paul Murdoch grabs the mic at Drovers with a mixture of 60’s and 70’s classics as well as many more recent crowd pleasers. Guaranteeing a night of toe-tapping tunes and questionable dance moves.

Tonight from 8pm, we’ve got the brilliant Joe Quinn taking over the music spot – and trust us, you’re in for a treat

A Scottish folk singer-songwriter who’s been at it for over 50 years (he started at just 12… show-off)

Expect a cracking mix of Scottish and Irish trad, his own original tunes, and a few cheeky classics thrown in from the likes of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, U2, and Bob Marley.

Good tunes, great vibes, and maybe a singalong or two.
