Here at Clayful, we have started a really special charity project with the Children’s Cancer Unit at the LGI that we’re so excited about!
We’re going once a month to do pottery painting with the children and we will also be doing tile prints with any little ones who are sadly coming to the end of their fight against cancer so that their families can keep a special hand print of their child. We will, of course be doing all of this for free!
Last time, we took a range of animals for the 16 children on the ward to paint and they had a great time getting creative!
The incredible play team sent us some great pictures and gave us permission to share them with you!
This is “Lexi & Lilly Rose, who loved doing their pots -
Lilly Rose - simply wanted a purple dinosaurs and really enjoyed getting out bed as painting is her favourite thing to do, which was made more exciting as it was a dinsaurs instead of just paper.
Lexi decided to be very artisitc with her pink cat, she spent over 40 minutes carefully painting her cat” understandably, most other children didn’t feel up to having their picture taken ❤️
Each time we go, we’d love to bring some goodies with us to give to the little ones and their families! Last time, so many people brought in lovely presents which the children were so excited about!!
We know this time of year is expensive but if you get chance, please drop off any presents at Clayful for us to bring next time we go! We’ll be going across later this week to do Christmas pots & baubles!
We hope you have the best Christmas ❤️
