It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mike Vernon.
To the world, he was a passionate champion of the blues and a legendary record producer who helped shape so much incredible music. But to us, he was also our dad, a brother, an uncle, a grandpa and partner — our steady guide, our storyteller, and our biggest supporter.
We will miss him beyond words, but his music, his spirit, and his love will stay with us always. 💙

Update on Pete from Andy Fuller (in case you missed it):
Hi everyone! I went to Pete's care home late on Christmas Eve with a few beers for him. He said to say hi back to everyone who remembers him. These days it's fair to say that he does not get visibly moved by much but he was definitely touched by these kind messages when I read them out. I know he appreciates any anecdotes; I got the great Del Bromham from Stray to write out what he recalled from one of their (extremely loud) gigs from 1969 / 70! Happy new year when it comes. 😀
