If you visit we hope you will find the gardens interesting and thought provoking. We live in the middle of a huge garden - the countryside - but our own gardens are an eclectic mix with elements of cottage gardens, walled gardens, terraces, ponds, an occasional broad sweep of lawn, a 'churchyard garden' and secret, tucked away gardens. We love our gardens, but don't consider ourselves experts, so
we hope you will enjoy our gardens as we do, as much loved works in progress. During your visit you'll have a chance to explore some of the gardens in Bramfield, which although small, is, like Dr Who's Tardis, bigger and more exciting than it looks and has several hidden gardens waiting to be explored. One particular 'garden' we hope you'll visit is our churchyard, in keeping with its countryside setting, but kept immaculate by a band of village volunteers. The church of St Andrew, Thomas a Becket's first living, will be open too. The village pub, The Grandison, can be found in Bury Lane along with the village hall where you will find cream teas and other refreshments .
