Hello we are a local couple who have lived here for nearly 20 x years who would love to see The Halfway House restored to a thriving, friendly PH for the community of Rickmansworth & Mill End. It is looking so desolate now and very sad for everyone involved.
We have written to the pub operator asking what their intentions are.
There are so many great pubs in and around the area yet none within a 10-min walk of where we live and it would be amazing to have somewhere everyone felt welcome, great pub food served and be supporting our community with jobs etc.
We will keep you updated with anything we hear and if anyone can help or suggest ways to encourage this do let us know.
