Fox and Hounds Inn Denholm Built in 1728 next to the village green. Been ran by Christine Purvis and Stewart Mabon since 3rd August 1999. Serving a wide range of beers, wines and spirits.

A varied menu of home cooking available. Real Ale served.

We are going to start our quiz night again.
The first night is Friday 11th February
We are going to start at 8pm because the pub closes at 11pm.
It will be £1 per person to take part and a maximum of 4 per team. £40 to the winners.

Lunches, light bites and chlildren’s meals are served 12noon - 2.30pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and from 12.30pm - 2.30pm on Sunday

Hi Folks. We hope everyone is safe and well. Because of the restrictions we have had to change our opening hours for 31st December and 1st January. We will not be open for the bells this year.

The times are
31st Dec 12 noon - 10pm
1st Jan 12noon - 11pm
Food will be available from 12 - 2.30 each day

It will be back normal from the 2nd January

Hi Folks
Due to adverse weather and low temperatures we are going to close at 8pm Sun - Thurs. This is only temporary and if there is an upturn in both it will be back to normal until 17th when everyone is allowed inside.

We have been able to get deliveries of all our beers except cask ale. We won’t have any until Wednesday and it will be Born Blonde (foxy). Up til then it will be bottles from Born in Scotland brewery😊

Hi Folks.. it’s getting near to us getting started so here is a few updates.

We are opening on Monday 26th April at 12 noon. We will be serving alcohol and food outside. Also food and soft drinks inside. Closing time is 10pm with last orders at 9.30pm.
We are only serving lunches and takeaways to start with. These are everyday except Wednesday from 12 noon til 2.30pm.
Food includes scampi,cod,haddock,lasagne all with chips. Various hot filled rolls, teas and coffees will also be available. We will be displaying the menus over the next few days.

From Monday every customer must give their contact details for track and trace. This is compulsory for everyone. Social distancing will be implemented as well.

We will update you with any changes.

Hi Folks.

If all goes well, It looks like we'll be able to open on 26th April. Outside for alcohol again and only until 10pm. Food can be sold inside and out until 8pm but with only soft drinks indoors.

It's a start on the road to normality. Hope to see old and new customers from then.

We'll keep you posted with what's happening when we find out more.
