We’ve got two fitted food huts available at The Old Town Market on George Street, Hastings.
To help the right traders get started, we’re offering up to eight weeks with no licence fee—just a £50-per-week contribution towards utilities.
The main setup is already in place, including commercial extraction, sinks, preparation areas, storage and gas/electric connections. All you need to bring is the equipment specific to your food and menu, subject to suitability.
Each hut is approximately 5 m² (54 sq ft), with final measurements to be confirmed. There’s shared customer seating, a bar and other food traders already operating in the building.
Our current opening hours are:
Thursday and Friday: 5pm until late
Saturday and Sunday: 11.30am until late
We currently have pizza, burgers and wraps, so we’re looking for something different. Asian food, curry, Caribbean, seafood, tacos, vegan food, desserts—or another strong concept that would work well in the market.
After the introductory period, the normal licence fee is from £350 per week, including the agreed utility contribution. The offer is subject to approval and a signed licence.
