Happy Friday 🥂 We’re ready for a lovely busy one tonight! Fish Friday is on from 4pm, we’ve got some gorgeous Chef Specials to tuck into, and Happy Hour gets going from 5pm with cocktails flowing until 7:30pm 🍸 Pop in, say hello and start the weekend with us!

A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes, but there are definitely plenty of laughs along the way 😂❤️ From the busiest shifts to the quieter moments, it’s the people you work with that make all the difference, and we’re very lucky to have the team we do.

We didn’t manage to catch everyone in this video, but this is a little appreciation post for every single person who plays a part in making the pub what it is. Thank you for all the hard work, the laughs and everything in between. What a team ❤️

100 days until Christmas 🎄 and we are looking so forward to another Duke of Clarence Christmas! ✨

The festive season always comes around quicker than we think, and we can’t wait to do it all over again. Christmas dinners, mulled w**e, cosy evenings and the return of our winter marquee ❄️ Our festive set menus are almost complete, so if you’re already planning the work Christmas party, family get-together or festive catch-up, now’s the time to get your dates in the diary 🥂

Saturday’s looking pretty good around here 🍻 Our chefs have some cracking specials on the menu today, and from 5pm Happy Hour gets underway with 2 cocktails for £16 until 7:30pm. Good food, a couple of cocktails and a Saturday afternoon that rolls nicely into the evening 🍸

Friday has finally arrived and we’re very ready for it 🍸 Fish Friday kicks off from 4pm, with 2 Cornish Fish & Chips for £30, available to enjoy with us or takeaway if you’re heading home. Then from 5pm, Happy Hour gets underway with 2 cocktails for £16. We’ll also be serving up our Chef Specials all evening long, alongside all your à la carte favourites! Good food, full glasses and a proper Friday evening ahead 🥂

They say an old bottle of red holds more stories than it does w**e. Years spent quietly waiting, getting richer, deeper and a little wiser with time. Perhaps that’s why the best conversations always seem to happen over a glass of red. 🍷

Our cellar is home to an extensive range of some of the finest reds around, from rich, full-bodied bottles to something a little lighter. If ever there was a time to work your way through the w**e list, autumn might just be it.🍁

Rainy days were made for comfort food 🌧️ Our Seafood Chowder is on this weeks chef specials and it’s exactly the kind of dish this weather calls for. A quote from one of our guests today: “This is the best seafood chowder I have ever had!” 👀
