❤️Important announcement❤️

It will come as a surprise to you as it does to us, we will be leaving this wonderful pub this Saturday coming. Yes, this is a shock, and surprisingly fast; we are gutted.

However, we have been fortunate enough to speak to the new tenants Cathy and Charlie and tell them how wonderful you all are. We know you will love them and welcome them the same way you welcomed me and the team.

We guess this is goodbye for now, we will be open with all our normal events and offers this week but with one special twist we know you lot will love!

*Join myself and the team this Saturday night for our 'Drink Us Dry Night'*

Share some memories, swap numbers and make plans for the future (while drinking us out of house and home)

Cathy and Charlie have been told how wonderful you are and don't want to leave you without your local so will be opening up from next Friday onwards! Follow this page as they will be taking over to share their new upcoming information!

Hello Glossop,
Unfortunately due to a staffing rota mixup, The Wheatsheaf will not be open this evening.

However we will be back up and running tomorrow with myself behind the bar for Friday night.

❤️Important announcement❤️

It’s with regret I have to inform you that The Woodcock Group is having to return The Wheatsheaf.

The brewery has a different vision for the building and unfortunately we don't fit into this. However there hasn’t been a final date decideded but we will keep you all upto date and let you know when the new tenant has been decided.

This isn't a post I thought we would have to make and quite frankly we are gutted. You guys welcomed me and my team with open arms; we will be forever grateful to you all for the memories and stories that we've made together.

From me Tom, Liam, Rach, Luke, Oliver, Michael and the wonder woman herself Elsie THANKYOU.

Normal operating hours will still apply until we have the date set in stone. Pop in and see us and we will keep you in the loop.

Hello Glossop! 🍺

Just a quick word from Tom & the gang from 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘧. The old page has had it's day! We have battled with Facebook to get the page fully public, but they were not having it! We've got ourselves a new 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲, and that's where all the news, photos, and goings-on will be from now on; from live music, wine tasting and festive celebrations that's where you will find it!!!
