he absolute best that high quality folk music has to offer, as well as blues, jazz & roots music. Our stage has been graced with the presence of a varied array of musicians, often seen at National and international festivals. Recent acts include Merry Hell, Harp & A Monkey, Dave Swarbrick, Lucy Ward, O'Hooley Tidow, Hannah James & Sam Sweeney, The Young uns, 4Square, Andy Irvine, & Celtarabia to name but a few. Have a look at our Gallery. The Globe is a truly unique music venue and hosts not only live music but live comedy, traditional music sessions every Monday and open mic nights as well. It has a relaxed, welcoming & intimate atmosphere, with a capacity of just 85 audience members. Our live music gigs are organised by fiddle-player Jamie Knowles of Glossop Violins Concerts.
