Glasgow Beer Week It's in Glasgow, it lasts a week, and it's about beer. September 2014.

Now in its fourth year, Glasgow Beer Week brings drinkers together with professional and amateur brewers to enjoy and discuss beer. Taking place in various venues across Glasgow over the course of a week, events will include beer dinners, tastings, beer history, brewing demonstrations and pub crawls. There will be something for everyone from the occasional beer drinker to the most knowledgeable “z

ythophile”. Beer Week aims to unite education and enjoyment: Brewers, pubs and restaurants will be collaborating to put on beer events that are a bit special and create a buzz around beer in Glasgow.

Last year (as far as we know) Beer Week pioneered beer and cheese matching in Glasgow with a tasting of six beers and six cheeses.

Volunteers wanted for the SIBA festival to round off Beer Week! Please email [email protected] to volunteer. Sessions at the festival are 17:00-22:00 on Friday and 11:00-16:00 and 17:00-22:00 on Saturday.
