Tesco have banned compostable and biodegradable plastics altogether. This is in support of Tesco’s ongoing efforts to reduce single use packaging.
This aligns with our own philosophy; compostable and biodegradable plastics are not good for humans or the environment! Being able to reuse and then recycle packaging is paramount to negating the effects of climate change and preventing further pollution of the environment.
