This September boar achieved breed champion at Newark and Notts show.
He found the whole experience a little strange which resulted him running around the ring out of control.
He was stopped on the fence line, then I had my legs taken from me by another boar which resulted in a fight.
This boar was then branded as dangerous/aggressive by fellow competitors and that small group wanted him banned from showing.
I would like to thank the bpa show committee for there professionalism and advice,also contacts of which I will not name but there is definitely a beer waiting for you at the Great Yorkshire show.thank you for your advice on how to handle a boar that runs in the ring, and also for not banning this pig from shows, and giving littleowls hulk 047 another chance, we have been training this pig for the remainder of the show season, there is a video which shows him being trained and walking calm relaxed and not aggressive at our side of us in the manage at home. During his training a previous customer made us a offer for good money to buy the boar for breeding,with a heavy heart we decided to sell him due to the complaints made against him, we feel his reputation in the show ring is now tarnished,and therefore decided to let him go.
