Comedy returns to Blake's on Saturday 23rd November @ 9.30pm with a new compere in the guise of Joe Rooney - Comedian, who played Father Damo in Father Ted and was a headline act to a sold out show a few years ago. Joe will have the pleasure of introducing two exciting acts to the Level 7 @ The Hollow stage.
John Colleary was a latecomer to comedy but was quick to make an impression with strong clever material, being a natural at accents and impressions and with a charismatic understated stage persona. His writing and acting skills particularly came to the fore on radio and TV where he is extremely sought after. He is the only actor/writer to feature prominently on both IFTA nominated programmes The Savage Eye and Pictorial Weekly.
Colum Mc Donnell is a comedian and actor best known for his television appearances and writing credits on the IFTA nominated satirical RTE sketch show ‘Irish Pictorial Weekly’. Colum currently stars in the RTE comedy show ‘Bridget and Eamon’ as Eamon’s hapless friend ‘Fierce Handy Frank’.
This will be a cracking nights entertainment, tickets are priced £8 and are now available from the Hollow...
