It all started in 2009 when I got my crazy little Lhasa Apso, Bailie. I wanted to take Bailie everywhere with me, but I had no idea where dogs were welcome (Bailie is named after the Bailie pub in Stockbridge, Edinburgh). I started to talk to people locally on dog walks about places you could take your dogs. I soon realised that there was such a big dog community but it just didn’t have a voice. It started off simple with just a short list of a few local places that made us welcome, then it started to grow (and grow). I created a website and Dugs n’ Pubs was born…
