This evening we've well and truly ditched the local mantra as we indulge this beauty - Disc Jockey from the amazing Garage Project in Wellington NZ.

Disc Jockey is a collaboration between GP's very own Dave Bell, and Kyle Harrop, brewer at the legendary Horus Aged Ales in Oceanside, California. Kyle & Dave linked up over a shared love of Disc Golf, while Kyle was in Aotearoa earlier this year for a Disc Golf competition. A few games of Disc Golf with Dave later - and Disc Jockey was born.

Described as a "specially selected puncheon aged spontaneous-ferment b**r, infused with organic Sultan, Satsuma and Billington plums picked on Roy Sunde's ‘Orchard’ disc golf course in Oratia. Tart, aromatic, colourful and utterly delightful. It’s an ace."

We absolutely concur - Disc Jockey is a wonderfully structured fruit sour, bursting with ripe plum notes on the nose and palate.

Thanks to everyone who came in to see us on Saturday night at our sell-out Bonfire Pop-up 🔥

It was great to see so many friends, old and new, including many of Heathfield District Bonfire Society's members who made a special stop to try Heffle's Embers - Heathfield's own bonfire b**r.

Judging by the reponse Heffle's Embers was an absolute winner. It delivered on every level, including raising over £300 for the Bonfire Society!

If you didn't get to try Heffle's Embers don't despair, it will be on when we open our doors full time, very soon.

HAPPY SATURDAY TWO TAILS FANS!!

If you're in town for tonight's amazing torchlight procession, why not pop into our Bonfire pop-up at our new home, 37 High Street.

This is tonight's line up, with the start of the show being Heffle's Embers, a b**r we brewed in collaboration with Koda Brewing Co, one of the newest, most exciting breweries in Sussex.

It was brewed especially for Heathfield District Bonfire Society - Heathfield's own bonfire b**r - with ALL profits going to the Bonfire Society and its charities.

We're open from 6 - 9.30pm and please note, as we're still fitting out, this is a street-bar style pop-up. All drinks will be served onto the street, no indoor seating or facilities are available - toilets are available at Union Church.

Someone spotted us preparing for Saturday's pop-up for the Heathfield District Bonfire Society torchlit procession...

Our banners have been a regular feature around town over the last two years, spreading the Two Tails messge, so we feel its only right to give one pride of place on our forever home.
