🔵⚫️ JAKE SCOTT COMMITS FOR 2026/27 🔵⚫️

Jake has been with the club since he was 16 and continues his journey with SJR Worksop for another season.

He’s produced some outstanding performances for both the First Team and U21s and has shown real character in battling back from two serious upper-body injuries.

A brave player who never shirks a challenge, Jake has developed into a very good full-back and remains a big asset to the squad.

The next step is consistency and continuing to build his strength. If he does that, there’s plenty more to come.

Delighted to have Jake committed for the 2026/27 season. 💙🖤

This Saturday we come together to celebrate the 2025/2026 season and recognise the players, moments and characters that made it one to remember.

Awards up for grabs include:

A fantastic day for Albert Sports Bar FC, with both teams producing excellent performances throughout the tournament.

One side made an impressive run to the semi-finals, showing great character and teamwork, while the other went all the way to lift the trophy and be crowned champions🏆

Special recognition goes to Charlie Spowart and Rhys Jackson, who were outstanding throughout, leading by example with their quality, work rate, and important goals⚽️

A proud day for the club, built on togetherness, effort, and determination.

Congratulations to everyone involved—reaching a semi-final with one team and winning the tournament with the other is a fantastic achievement.

Massive shoutout to and family for organising this tournament and it was all for a good cause❤️

The final whistle may have blown on the season, but there’s still one more night to celebrate.

THANK YOU ❤️🖤

As the curtain closes on the 2025/2026 season, we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the year — home and away. Your support never went unnoticed and it pushed the lads every single week.

A special thank you to Simon, who has put up with us all season long and always made sure the food, hospitality and everything around the games was spot on — whether we were at home or even away at times. It’s massively appreciated by everyone involved.

Thank you also to for allowing us the use of their pitch and facilities throughout the season. The support and help has meant a lot to the club.

And finally, the lads.
A season full of hard work, commitment and memories — reaching the County Cup Quarter Finals and League Cup Semi Finals along the way. A lot to be proud of and plenty more still to come from this group.

Now it’s time for the lads to enjoy a well-earned break after a long, hard season.

Big one this Sunday as we head to Brookfield Park to take on Tickhill FC in the Gainsborough & District League.

Last time we faced Tickhill, it was our very first league game as Albert Sports Bar FC — and it’s fair to say it didn’t go our way. A tough 4-1 defeat that day. Since then, a lot has changed. We’ve grown, improved, and built something stronger.

This fixture is a proper test of how far we’ve come.

Kick-off is 10:30am, so get yourselves down, get behind the lads, and let’s make some noise. Your support makes the difference.

This Sunday we’re back in league action as we travel to face Friendship FC at Marshall Sports Ground, 10:30AM KO.

After three defeats on the bounce, there’s no hiding from the fact that this is a massive game for the lads. We know results haven’t gone our way recently, and one of those losses came against this very opposition, so there’s definitely a point to prove.

This is the perfect chance to respond, put things right, and show what this team is really about. Every game now matters, and the boys will be going into this one fired up and ready to bounce back.

Tomorrow is a massive one for the lads as we step into the semi-final, and we need everyone behind us.

The support recently has been unbelievable, and we’re hoping to recreate those scenes once again — the noise, the atmosphere, and the energy from the sidelines can make all the difference.

The boys have worked hard to get to this stage, and now we’re just one step away from the final. It’s time to turn up, get loud, and back the team all the way.

🏆 LEAGUE CUP 🏆

This Sunday we turn our full focus to cup action as Albert Sports Bar FC take on East Markham FC at Cannon Park, with a 10:30am kick-off.

The lads are looking to carry momentum into what promises to be a tough test against strong opposition. Cup football always brings that extra edge, and the boys will be ready to leave everything out on the pitch.

We’d love to see plenty of support down at Cannon Park as we look to put in another big performance and book our place in the next round.
