A brilliant day for Albert Sports Bar FC with both sides getting the job done and putting in performances full of quality, work rate and determination.
The First Team secured a professional 2-0 victory over Babworth Rovers, controlling the game from start to finish. Jono Burton opened the scoring before new signing Harvey Batty , leading the line in attack, marked his debut for the club with a goal to make it the perfect start in an Albert shirt. A disciplined defensive display also earned a well-deserved clean sheet.
The Reserves were in outstanding form, running out convincing 6-2 winners against The Blue Bell Inn. While defender Jack Eaton grabbed the headlines with an outstanding hat-trick from the back, Carter Poole , Cameron Matthews , and Liam Boyle also found the net to complete an excellent all-round team performance.
