A welcome return to Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight after a week's break, but a first visit for York based SpeedQuizzer 'Smooth Jiminal'🥇. In an impressive & groundbreaking performance, 'Smooth Jiminal' got the fastest finger bonus on question 1, 2 & 3 & remained in top place for the entirety of the quiz!!! That's never happened before at any of my quizzes! Not the best time then for 'Trivia Newton John'🥈 to put in such a strong performance, with some helpful bonus Wheel Points, which would normally have been enough for a win. 'The Max Foundation'🥉 also got close to our winner, closing the gap to 1st from 50 points in Round 5 to 18 during Round 6. Winning the prize for highest percentage correct answers this week was 4th placed 'We Cannot See Clearly Now'📈 with 'Nearest-the-Bull' winners 'Who Know's?'🍾.

Well, it looks like this week will be 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride'. Summer visitors to our local quizzes 'Billington Bardd' pushed us all the way for second, with us needing the final question to sn**ch the runners-up spot.

Good morning. September is up and running and 'The Fellowship of the Quiz'🥇 hit the ground running. After two 4th place finishes in their previous two appearances over the last couple of month, they were due a win. 'The Boshers'🥈 secured their best finish to date with 'We Can See Clearly Now'🥉 in third, but getting a prize for having the joint-top percentage of questions right (equal with the winning team). Nearest-the-bull winners were 'Who Knows?'🍾
