Big congratulations to Mark Yeates on retaining the Marty Walsh Memorial title last night, beating Buster Cheevers 5-1 in the final. Earlier in the night Buster beat young Ethan Murphy 5-1 in the first semi final (Happy 14th birthday to Ethan today). Mark came through a great game in the other semi final against Mickey Croskery, winning 5-3. All results attached.

Big thank you to everyone who came out to the bar and supported the boys last night. It was a great atmosphere. And to the 1000 people who tuned into the stream at some point during the night.

Thanks to Wacko’s children and granddaughter for attending and making the presentation on behalf of the Walsh family.

Lastly, thank you to the 51 players who played in the event. Let’s see if we can fill the 64 spots next year 💪

𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗛 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 - 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮:

After another cracking day of darts, Mark Yeates and Mickey Croskery complete the semi final line up for the 2026 Marty Walsh Memorial.

Defending champion Yeates, who was just back from international duty, could’ve been forgiven for expecting an easier draw as No. 1 seed but nevertheless scored wins over Calum Croskery (3-0) and Eoin Rooney (3-1) before beating the highly fancied Martin Carville 4-0 in the quarter final.

Mickey Croskery too had to play good darts to progress. He had wins over Emma Cunningham (3-0) and Eamon Ferris (3-1) before defeating the last remaining local hope Robbie Noade 4-1 in a high quality quarter final.

Many thanks to all 51 players who entered and helped us make this tournament a great tribute to our friend Wacko.

Also big thanks to Bernie for preparing food for everyone over the two days and to the bar staff, Karen, Anneka & Anto for opening early on both days and keeping us hydrated. 🍻

Hope to see a good turnout on Saturday night for what is sure to be a great night of darts. 🎯
