How it all began!
I’ve always been a bit creative and somewhat of an entrepreneur, or at least I try! Having seen an investment opportunity in 3D Laser Cutters & Engravers through a friend, I saw an opportunity where I could use my creative passion and flare for design, to create unique and specialised gifts for people which weren’t readily available on the High Street.
Initially just playing around with ideas and making personalised Christmas presents for friends in wood, I began being asked to design and make personalised and unique gifts for others. Within a month or so I was experimenting with everything from Beer mats to Photographs...
Soon, two close friends of mine, both with different views and creative ideas joined me on my journey and offered their input into new and wonderful things we could create as a team. Eventually word spread and soon more people began ordering products.. and so SILC was born!
Now we offer personalised, unique gifts for everyone and every occasion. We can create in Wood, Acrylic, Steel, Slate, Glass and more. So, if you require that special message in that extra special gift or even if you’d like to see your own idea brought to fruition, we can help!
