Good Evening.

We have an update for you.
After a meeting today, the decision has been made to close The Swan, for the final time, on Sunday December 14th at close of business - 10pm or thereabouts.
The Christmas Draw will take place on the 14th, with Cash Prizes.
We would like these last eight shifts to be pleasant, with no nastiness.
These shifts will be covered by regular Bar Staff. Carol will not be available, unless absolutely necessary.
We realise and acknowledge this has happened very quickly, and we apologise for any inconvenience.
Thank you so much for your valued custom and support during the last year.

Good Afternoon.

It has been suggested to us that it maybe beneficial to garner any interest, via Social Media, regarding the purchase of the Lease for The Swan.
It is, at present, with an Estate Agent, but we are equally happy to entertain a private purchase.

Good Morning All,

It is with a heavy heart that we bring you the news The Swan will close - under the present Landlady, Carol - by Christmas. We have not secured a date as of yet, but we will let you know as soon as we know.
The reason(s) this difficult decision has been made are many fold - but suffice to say Carol feels with her personal circumstances and the declining and sporadic footfall, the time has come to cut her loses and move on.
Also, Carol has been aware of various rumours and such like circulating the village. These, in the main, are groundless and have caused much upset. We acknowledge that some social media posts from us would have been prudent earlier if The Swan was closed for example, and for that we accept responsibility and apologise.
We wholeheartedly thank you for your custom thus far - and vow to keep you updated.
From now on The Swan will open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Times as follows:-
Thursday 12 noon - close
Friday. 12 noon - close
Saturday 12 noon - close
Sunday. 12 noon - close (10pm)
