I just heard the other day that the venue that became associated with “”Carnival Of Souls” originally called “The Pink Coconut” and then “Destiny and Elite” is to be demolished! Just like so many other places of of cultural importance in this country. Probably to make way for yet more student accommodation. Which is just gentrification under another name.

Every person who wanted to take photo's at Carnival Of Souls had to apply for an official photo pass. The conditions of the pass being issued were that the photographer had to ensure that permission was gained by the subjects in the photo, and that a copy of the photos taken were supplied to the COS organisers and may be used for promotional purposes in the future. Most of these photos have never been seen before.
