I am happy to say that cleaning and decorating is now underway in the main commercial part of the building and the new tenant will be The Caaf. This is a second business in town under the management of Ryan and Mandy. Well done to you both and cannot wait for my first roast dinner :)

The summer is over and unfortunatley the cafe and bakery has gone too. So sorry to see this happen, but for every door that closes another one opens up. A new cafe/diner will arrive shortly. When I offered the place out it took less then 6 hours to agree a deal, so there is definitly life in Dalry and the business community is willing to invest.

Saturday was the last event arranged by the Mens Sheds; BBQ and Karaoke night. Great food provided by Ronnie Stalker and BBQ by Stevie. Live music by local talents on the "Planterbury" stage built by Marti. Karaoke till very late or very early in the morning by Rae and Stevie. I am sure we can get another BBQ/Karaoke done before winter sets in....

We now have a fully occupied building by a charity, a bakery and our contract room rentals.

So much happening I hardly get time to update the websites before new stuff needs adding... An event company have approach me with regards to utilising the professional kitchen and function hall for events. Well that would just be great.....

This Saturday I am opening up the former nightclub area for a private jamming session. Local musicians will use this as a place to practice and hopefully will find it a good alternative and come back for more :) Eventually later this year new toilets will be installed and then I can open to a larger audience and maybe the musicians' will have a few sessions open to an audience too .

The rumours may have got around town already, but a new coffee machine is arriving in the café this week and its for a new business opening very very soon.... Watch the space, smell the coffee and just wait for the baked goods to arrive.

The Mens Shed moved into the ground floor rear of the building back in February. They now have their fantastic wood shed and bicycle repairs shop running and supplying a local service. Most importantly obviously is that men get to meet and socialise in a nice friendly environment and talk about living their best life possible.

Lights are now on for the festive season. Popup wreath, flower and gift shop now open. Charity redoing the lower rear of the building for next year's opening.
