Closing Down Notice
It is with great sadness that we write this letter. After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close our doors.
18 months ago we started with a vision to bring a mix of great food & entertainment to Cramlington, spurred on by the end of Covid and the bright future than people regaining their freedom would bring.
Sadly, we now find ourselves in a world that is unrecognisable from what it was when we opened. We now have a war in Ukraine that has elevated the price of electricity, oil, gas and all basic food ingredients leaving us with an ongoing cost of living crisis.
Taking all this in to account we realise that the business is not viable going forward given the current climate and have had to make this heart-breaking decision.
Firstly, we would like to thank our amazing team of staff who have stayed with us to the very end, choosing not to seek alternative employment until the doors were closed for the very last time. We will be forever grateful to them as without their support and commitment we simply could not have managed. We thank them for their loyalty.
Secondly, we would like to thank all our loyal customers. We’re so sorry we couldn’t make it work. We’ve had some amazing, memorable nights with some of the UKs best tribute acts & local bands. Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it's gone and hopefully as time passes, we will be remembered fondly.
I'm sure we won't be the only local independent business looking at a bleak outlook for this year and having to make tough decisions so if anything is to be learned from our closure it is that local independent family businesses need your support now more than ever.
Once again, our deepest gratitude to you all. We will miss you.
