The clubhouse raised an amazing £600 which was matched by the site to total £1,200. The money is going to ‘The Foundation for Ribble Valley Families’ which supports families with children’s mental health. The cheque was presented to the Mayor of Clitheroe as this is one of her chosen charities this year.

The chosen charity next year will be ‘The Olive Branch’ which is in the Trinity community centre. It is a central hub where people can meet, have refreshments and get advise and support from a variety of agencies face to face such as DWP, food bank, citizens advise, NHS. Another amazing charity.

It was a pleasure for the Shireburne Club House to hand over the cheque to NWAA for the money raised over the last 8 months. The amount raised was kindly matched by the owners of the site totalling a whopping £2,146!

NWAA have arranged send a representative to the bar at 7pm on Friday so they can be presented with the cheque. Let’s hope as many people as possible can make it 🥳
