🤘 Chislehurst Rocks is now a TWO DAY festival 🤘

For the first time ever, the party starts on Friday night at Flamingo Park and we cannot wait to welcome you.

Expect street food and the funfair with FREE entry on Friday evening. Then on Saturday, the food court and funfair will once again be completely free to enter throughout the day, with tickets only required for the live music and bar area 🎶

So whether you’re coming for the music, the food, the rides or just the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone this year.

Why has Chislehurst Rocks moved for 2026?

After 15 brilliant years at Walden Recreation Ground, we’ve made the move to our new home at Flamingo Park (home of Cray Wanderers FC).

As a not-for-profit event put on entirely by volunteers one of our biggest challenges each year is managing the rising costs of putting the event on safely — particularly things like security fencing, infrastructure, and temporary facilities.

The new venue already has much of this in place, including secure boundaries and built-in amenities like toilets and indoor spaces. This means we can significantly reduce setup costs while still delivering and improving, the overall experience.

It also allows us to:
• Create a better VIP experience with a proper viewing area
• Reduce the need for temporary structures like gazebos
• Invest more into what matters most — the music and atmosphere

We know the rec holds a special place in the history of Chislehurst Rocks, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the memories made there 🎶💜

This move is about making sure the event remains sustainable and can continue for years to come.

Chislehurst Rocks returns for 2026 🎶

After 15 incredible years at Chislehurst Recreation Ground, this year marks a new chapter as we move to our new home at Flamingo Park.

We know how much the rec. means to so many of us, it’s where Chislehurst Rocks began and became the community event it is today. This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, but we’re really excited about what this new space allows us to bring you going forward.

You can still expect everything you love: a full day of live local music, great food, bars, and family entertainment plus some new additions for 2026, including a free-to-enter Courtyard Fun Fair and Food Court.

To make things easy, a shuttle bus will run between Walden Recreation Ground and Flamingo Park throughout the day.

🎟️ Event tickets are required for access to the live music, main arena, and sports demos, with priority/queue-jump entry if booked online.

As always, Chislehurst Rocks is a not-for-profit volunteer-led event, with every ticket helping to cover the cost of staging the day safely and successfully.

We can’t wait to welcome you all for year 16❤️

Rachelle has worked tirelessly year after year as a volunteer, giving her time, energy, and heart to make Chislehurst Rocks an incredible festival for everyone. And now, she’s been recognised with a Community Award for her outstanding contribution to public safety at the Tonbridge Christmas Festival and Fireworks Celebration.

Rachelle’s commitment to community safety, across all her events, is truly extraordinary. These events simply wouldn’t be the same without her 👏👏👏

Tonbridge Christmas Festival & Fireworks is a non-profit event which relies on generous donations, sponsorships and grants from local people and businesses. Tonbridge Christmas Festival is run and supported by dozens of hard-working volunteers who give their time for free.

We need your support!
Total event costs are approximately £25,000 per year. We have to fundraise every penny!

Tonbridge Christmas Festival is the most anticipated annual event in the Tonbridge Community Calendar.

Launched by the Rotary Club of Tonbridge in 2013, the event has grown into an amazing family day out drawing an average crowd of 10,000-12,000 visitors.

The festival features dozens of stalls from local traders selling festive gifts, food and drink and local groups/organisations promoting their activities.

The organisers always provide activities for children – whether it’s free entertainment on the main stage or Santa in his real reindeer-led sleigh there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Thousands of PEOPLE ENTERTAINED 🎉 10 HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT 🎶 10 BANDS PROMOTED 🎸 30+ STALLHOLDERS SUPPORTED 🥘

This year we:

🎶 Supported up-and-coming bands
💜 Helped dozens with additional needs enjoy their first ever festival through the Take a Moment Tent & free Carer Concessions
🛍 Backed local, independent businesses by working exclusively with local suppliers.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible team of volunteers who planned, applied for licenses, designed banners, set up gazebos, gave you FREE water straight from their mains, picked up litter, and are now back today to take everything down. All unpaid. All powered by love for the community. 💜

🗺 Where? Walden Recreation Ground, Victoria Road, Chislehurst BR7 6DF
💰 Chislehurst Rocks is a ticketed event. You can buy your ticket online or at the gate.
🥪 You can bring your own food (excl. VIP area)
🐶 You dog can come too but it must be kept on a lead and be under control
⏰ The music starts at 11 am and finishes at 9pm
💼 Bags will be searched by all entrances. Please allow time to enter the site
💦 We have tap water, please bring a bottle for free ice cold water
🍹 We have a bars where you can buy cocktails, beer and wine
🥘 We have plenty of food stalls, some will be serving vegan and gluten free options
🚗 If possible, leave the car at home and use public transport.
🚌 There are plenty of busses (162, 273, 314) that come to Chislehurst. Nearest stop is by the Coop on White Horse Hill.
🚂 Closest train station is Elmstead Woods.
♿️ We have a few blue badge parking spaces on site. It’s first come first served.
🅿️ Car parks are found behind the library and behind the post office in the high street. Do not park by the Co-op in Victoria Rec. It’s only 15 min parking and you will receive a fine. Spaces are also limited in the surrounding streets.
🎠 Rides are available for children. You can buy tokens once inside.
💵 All stalls accept cash and card. Nearest cash point is in Sainsbury’s.
🪑 ⛺️ Folding chairs and children’s small pop up tents are welcome
