We’re thrilled to be hosting our first ever Charity Ball at The Fox & Hounds on Saturday 3rd May 2025 – an evening of celebration, community, and giving back 💃🕺

This special event is raising funds for three incredible charities doing life-changing work:

🌼 Ashgate Hospice – Providing compassionate end-of-life care across North Derbyshire.
🚁 Yorkshire Air Ambulance – Delivering lifesaving emergency care across the region.

Just to make you all aware the main road in Cutthorpe will be closed for the next couple of weeks between the hours of 9.30am till 3pm. I have spoken to the traffic management team and access will be allowed through up to the Peacock during this time and we are open as usual 😁

We will be closed on Monday the 30th of September for general maintenance work to be carried out we will be re opening on Saturday 5th of October at 12pm.

Derbyshire county council are doing some resurfacing in the village today and over the next few days … they have assured me that access to the peacock will not be affected. The traffic management team will let you through the road closure.
