Pubs of Chester

18/10/2026

Egerton Arms Liverpool Road, Bache, Chester.

In September 2026, its owners, Joseph Holt announced that the pub would return to its historic name following a £400,000 refurbishment.

The pub has now reopened and, as you can see from the pictures, they’ve done an excellent job! 🍻

Well done and good luck to Sophie and the team!

Never a bad pint in here. It’s that time of year for the darker b**rs… 🍂🍺

This one has been recommended to me a lot by Mathew Bloor and Boozy Benny Blogs Page and now I can see why!

Joule's Brewery Moon Madness

An absolute belter of a b**r — rich, full of flavour, and everything you want in a pint as the nights draw in. What a b**r! 🍻🔥
