Great big news! The Chepstow Acoustic Music Club rides again! Top man, Jon Marsden, has got together some CAMC favourites for a reunion show. Maybe more of these shows in future? Come along for some musical fun.

⚠️New music shenanigans are coming to Chepstow Art Space! And this monthly Acoustic Showcase is one of them!!🎶

Curated by the local legend Jon Marsden, we will present this evening once a month, on every third Friday.💃🕺

We know there is a lot of musical activity in town lately and we love that!🎵
This experience will bring a new twist offering artists the chance to perform a proper set, pre arranged and pre booked in advance. ✅

On this first edition, on the 21st November, Jon is re-uniting what once was an acoustic club gathering in a local venue. We can't wait to hear the talent and feel inspired. 🙏

Just to make you aware John McConnachie is starting the first "bare bones" music night at the Greenman in Chepstow.(Where we used to have the Chepstow Acoustic Music club open mic) Bring your voice, bring your entertainment talent, do your own thing. Everybody welcome! Come and enjoy yourself. Fri 15th July start time 7:30pm. The new managers Kim and Jon will be pleased to meet you.

Folks - two music club regulars have entries in the songwriters competition for the Tredegar House Folk Festival. There are LOADS of entries. The organisers want to whittle them down to 10 to go before the judges. I guess because it's difficult to do it any other way, they're doing this by counting Facebook "likes" for each video on the Tredegar Songwriter page. The closing date is this coming Monday, March 16. It would be really fabulous if you'd like to help.

Only "likes" on the Tredegar Songwriter page will count (liking a shared post doesn't help, liking the video in YouTube doesn't help). It's a bit fiddly to navigate.

That being said, you can follow these links below to the relevant entries on that page and, if you do like the song(s), please hit the "like" button. You can go to the Tredegar Songwriter page itself and look at all the other songs too. There are a lot of them!
