Our Flying Pig has officially taken off 🐷🪽🌸

Inspired by the phrase “if pigs could fly,” our Chelsea in Bloom installation transforms natural materials into a suspended sculptural Flying Pig, designed in partnership with .

Crafted using dried flowers, moss and foliage, the piece was created to bring movement, texture and a little humour to the streets of Chelsea.

Our new Farm-to-Fork menu this week! 🌿

Seasonal British produce, a few bits from our family farm, and ingredients from suppliers we’ve known and trusted for years.

We change it every week, so it keeps up with what’s coming in fresh and tasting its best.

Midweek, it’s £24 for two courses or £28 for three, and if you’re popping in on your lunch break, we’ll have you sorted in under an hour.

Simple, seasonal, and always changing 😍

Our new Farm-to-Fork menu is here! 🚜🧑🏽‍🌾🌿

It’s all about what’s good right now - seasonal British produce, a bit from our own family farm, and ingredients from suppliers we’ve worked with for years.

The menu changes every week, so it always reflects what’s coming in and at its best. Simple cooking, led by the ingredients 🍽️

Two courses £24 / Three courses £28, and served in under an hour if you’re popping in midweek.

Easy, seasonal, and always evolving.

Spring is just around the corner at The Pig’s Ear, and we’ve got plenty to look forward to 🌱

First up, Mother’s Day on 15 March - join us for our Sunday roast with a special dessert for the mums. Then St Patrick’s Day on 17 March ☘️, the perfect excuse to pop in for a pint and a bit of midweek cheer.

Later in the month we’re also incredibly excited to be opening , our newest addition to the Local & Wild family and our first pub with rooms in the South Downs!

With longer days, a bit more sunshine, and plenty going on, we’re looking forward to a busy spring ahead. Save the dates and come and see us soon 🍻

⭐⭐⭐ SRA THREE STARS AWARDED ⭐⭐⭐

We are beyond thrilled to share this news with you!!
All five of our Local & Wild restaurants have been awarded Three Stars by the Sustainable Restaurant Association - the highest rating possible in the Food Made Good Standard.

The Shed. Rabbit British Bistro. The Pig’s Ear. Sussex British Bistro. The Black Lamb.

We grew up on our family farm, Nutbourne Vineyards in West Sussex - learning from an early age that how you farm, source and cook are all connected. That understanding shaped the restaurants long before they ever existed.

From lambs grazing between the vines, to working with independent fishermen and small-scale suppliers, to nose-to-tail butchery and measuring our carbon footprint - this recognition reflects the way we’ve always chosen to operate.

We’ve been working with the SRA since 2014. This was our fifth assessment. Three Stars means the world to us - and we’ll keep striving to improve.

Local & Wild was never a slogan. It’s simply how we were brought up.
