A little winter wonder is coming to the orchard.
On Monday 14 December, we're gathering in our cosy Alpine tipi for an evening of wreath making, mulled Hitchcox c***r and festive nibbles, with the woodburning fire roaring away in the middle.
You'll create your own beautiful Christmas wreath using natural greenery and seasonal decorations, with everything you need provided.
No experience necessary. No pressure to produce a masterpiece. Although we fully support anyone who intends to make the neighbours jealous.
Monday 14 December | £55 per person
Spaces are limited, so book your place and give yourself something lovely to look forward to.

Calling local bands
We want to keep this one properly local.

We’re looking for bands and musicians from within roughly 30 miles of Hitchcox to come and play in the orchard.

If you rehearse in a village hall, somebody’s garage, above a pub, or anywhere else within striking distance of Hitchcox, we want to hear from you.

We love putting local people at the heart of our events, and we’d much rather our stage was filled by brilliant musicians from around here.

Drop us a message with a little about yourselves and a link to hear you play. And please tag any local bands you think should be on our radar.

Welcome to the Hitchcox orchard.
Whether it's a company celebration, family gathering or special occasion, we'll help create a day everyone can enjoy.
Freshly prepared food from The Kitchen. Activities to keep little ones happily entertained with the brilliant young people from Orchard Therapeutic Farm. A built-in stage ready for a live band or DJ. Plenty of space to relax, celebrate and make memories.

Things are getting a little more autumnal at Hitchcox Kitchen this Friday.

We’re adding hot toasties to the menu — made with fresh, locally baked bread, cheese and chutneys. Just the thing for a chilly October morning.

Our brilliant coffee crew from Orchard Therapeutic Farm will be in the Tepee serving toasties alongside our usual coffees and teas.

Friday mornings in the orchard are really lovely at this time of year.

Yesterday’s job: bottling the Colonel.

Colonel Plums has been making its way from tank to bottle, ready to march out into the world.

Made with floral damson, ripe plum and traditional c***r apples, it’s sharp, fruity and full of character. Exactly as the Colonel intended.

There’s something satisfying about seeing a batch finally bottled, labelled and lined up ready to go.

All hail the Colonel.

A good reason to look forward to Friday mornings…

Hot toasties are on the menu at Hitchcox Kitchen, made with fresh locally baked bread, cheese and chutneys: warm, crispy and exactly what October calls for.

Our lovely coffee crew from Orchard Therapeutic Farm will be in the Tepee, with the coffee brewing, tea pouring and toasties toasting.

We don’t only put our own c***r into bottles.
We can put yours in them too.
Over the years we’ve built up our bottling and kegging setup here at Hitchcox, and we now use it for other independent producers making c***r, b**r, w**e and juice.
We know what it’s like when you’ve put months of work into what’s inside the tank. The last thing you want is for the final bit of the process to become a headache.
So we keep things flexible, straightforward and personal.
No disappearing into the workings of some enormous factory. Just people you can actually speak to, taking as much care over your batch as we do our own.
If you’re looking for someone to help bottle or keg your next run, give us a shout.
We’re always happy to talk shop.
