The Redfern Inn Carlisle

Unfortunately due to having a lot of our regulars away this weekend we’ve decided not to put any entertainment on this year. This is the first year we haven’t done something for Halloween but in the current climate paying 2 or 3 hundred pound for a singer isn’t good business especially if only playing to a handful of people. So instead we will offer you a free juke box and free pool all night. But if you are wanting live entertainment I hear there’s a good act on at the CAT ( crown and thistle stanwix) give them a try. Thanks.

This Saturday we’re having a darts competition followed in the evening with karaoke. It’s £10 per person with £100 added to the kitty for prize money. It’s a blinds doubles comp. So any glory hunters needn’t bother. You don’t get to choose your partner. It’s drawn out the hat. Everyone taking parts plays darts. Some better than others. You might get lucky and be partnered with a first division player or you might get me. It’s the luck of the draw. It’s good crack with good company. And you never know you might win a few quid. So get yourself to the Redfern this Saturday. Registration between 2 and 2.30. Looking to start about 3pm.

The new darts room seems popular with the locals.

New darts room just about finished. Just needing the sky plumbed through now. Any darts teams looking for a new venue or any teams just starting up. Come and see us. I’m sure we can accommodate you.

Has anyone got a black Audi parked on etterby street next to the Redfern. The road work lads are waiting to resurface the road and are young to get the car towed at your expense if it’s not moved post haste.

Come join us cheer on the blues live on tv @ the Redfern.

Don’t forget folks. Wayne O’Neil live at the Redfern today.

We’ve got Carlisle’s number one crooner back in at the Redfern on Sunday 30th August. 3pm onwards.
