They’ve only gone and done it again! A big hand to Four Must Get Beers!
It felt like a re-run of last week. Cheesy Keema were smashing it after round one, with the Beers very far behind. However, Burger Day Celebs was a round of easy points and they soon caught up and climbed to second place.
As we got to our Biscuits round, Cheesy Keema fell apart like a Rich Tea that's been in the vicinity of a cup of tea, and the top spots were occupied by the Beers, Not Fussed and Old Skulls United.
Lonesome Chairman John entered the chat later on in that round, climbing to second place, and Jammy Donuts, who, let’s be honest, were toward the bottom of the leader board, bagged the Nearest Win and went top!
They held on well, but the Evil Music Round eventually got the best of them. Chicken Shed Two entered the foray, but then it was all change.
The last question upset a lot of people in more ways than one - the song was Blue by Eiffel 65, and if that wasn’t distressing enough, many teams seemed to forget that Sixty-Five is actually word. Old Skulls would have been third, but they forgot the rules, and Jammy Donuts, who worked hard to climb back up the rankings, took their place.
🥇Four Must Get Beers - 428
🥈Finger Puppet Mafia - 385 (seriously, who needs Fi*****ng?)
🥉Jammy Donuts - 375
And another tough performance from Joe and Eve on Play Your Cards Right - I admit I was downstairs stock taking when this was going on, but I heard the trials and tribulations from the cellar. The jackpot now stands at £80-odd, unless Dazman took a half way prize, in which case I’m sure he’ll correct me in due course.
Thanks all for coming, see you next time!
