Congrats Old Skulls for winning Wednesday’s Quiz!
A fine display of knowledge around all things general and all things spooky.
Last week’s winners Karl’s Fi*****ng started off strong but at the end of the second round, our all-round Hallowe’en knowledge round, it was the Spooky Skulls at the top, with the Three Must Get B**rs, Monkey Tennis and Crystal Methodist Church in the Champions League spot, quite a way away from the Skulls, but all just a couple of points difference between themselves.
Round four was famous clips from horror, thriller and zombie movies. At the end of that round, the leaderboard was looking pretty much the same, but Hung Like a Barnacle made it to fourth place.
Our Nearest Win put Speccy Speccy Four Eyes in top spot and they should be very pleased with that, as they were near the bottom.
At the end of round five the Skulls were still in the lead with a comfortable gap. Cheesy Keema made their way to second place, Monkey Tennis in third, one point behind Keema, B**rs in fourth, one point behind Monkey Tennis.
The music round was famous songs (not themes I must stress) from Hallowe’en movies, horror movies etc. And we changed it up a bit. Half points for the artist, ten points evil for the movie. 13 movies.
A few of the aforementioned teams all had a go for top spot, but even with the Skulls losing points on the last question - The Devils Rejects, no one could stop them.
