Dear valued customers and friends,

This is a very difficult post for me to write, but it’s something that needs to be shared.

As of the 6th of September, I’ve worked at The Brook for just over 8 years. In that time, it has become so much more than just a job or a pub—it’s become a huge part of me. Anyone who knows me will know how much love and pride I’ve had for this place, which makes this all the harder to say that around 8 weeks ago, I handed in my notice and I will be leaving.

The decision hasn’t been easy, but the role has taken its toll on my mental and physical health, and as much as it pains me to leave The Brook behind, it’s something I need to do.

This Saturday, the 13th, will unfortunately be my last one, and I couldn’t have asked for a better send-off than with the brilliant Johnny Friendlies. I’d love to invite you all to come along—whether it’s to enjoy the music, share a drink, or simply say hello and goodbye 😊.

I want to say a truly massive thank you for all the support you’ve given me since taking over. Running a pub has always been a dream of mine, and I’ll always feel honoured that I got to live that dream at this pub—MY PUB….THE BROOK

I’d also like to wish the very best of luck to the new team coming into The Brook. I hope its success continues long into the future.

I really hope to see as many of you as possible this Saturday for one last blast.
