A Huge Thank You from The Horseshoe Inn
We would like to thank everyone who supported us by voting in the Nottingham Pub of the Month competition.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic staff, who work tirelessly week in and week out, as well as our amazing customers who continue to support us. This achievement belongs to all of you.
It’s also great recognition for Bulwell as a whole. Too often our area doesn’t receive the credit it truly deserves, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We are fortunate to have a fantastic community and some brilliant pubs, including The Monkey, The Royal Oak, The Lion Revived, The Moon & Stars, The Bulls Well, The Abbey, The Headstocks, The Top House, The Limekiln, The Oxford and The Catchers Corner, which is now thriving once again.
We are also lucky to have excellent social clubs such as Bestwood Road Sports & Social Club and Oakleigh Lodge.
Bulwell is not what many people believe it to be. Time and time again, the people of Bulwell come together to support one another, and nowhere is that more evident than in the incredible fundraising efforts that take place throughout our community.
Recent examples include The Top House’s Banana Walk fundraiser, The Oxford’s dementia walk to the City Ground, and the overwhelming support we received following the passing of Mel Bennett. We have also been humbled by the generosity shown during our Stroke Awareness Month fundraising efforts.
These events prove what we already know – Bulwell is a community that cares, supports one another and comes together when it matters most.
Winning this recognition is a fantastic achievement, and once again we would like to personally thank every member of staff and every customer who has supported us.
Bulwell deserves this recognition, and we are proud to be part of such a special community.
