I have a confession. I always get emotional at some point during every single wedding 🙈

Usually, it’s during one of the big moments you’d expect. A special speech or a beautiful reading. But this wedding was different because I really didn’t see it coming.

The thing about weddings is that you can plan the timings, run through what’s happening at every point and know exactly what comes next… but there’s always a little bit of magic that you simply can’t plan for.

Right at the end of their ceremony, while the bride and groom were busy signing the register and doing all the official bits, I looked around and saw something that completely got me.

Two families. Two cultures. Different traditions. Suddenly hugging, shaking hands, laughing and celebrating together.

And I just stood there behind my camera feeling a little emotional for a second…before of course lifting my camera and getting to work!

Because really, that’s what a wedding is about, isn’t it? Two people bringing their families together 🫶

L & O 🤍

I genuinely can’t tell you how much I laughed with these two gorgeous humans during their registry office micro wedding a couple of weeks ago.

A very sunny Saturday afternoon in Stratford Upon Avon, a little walk around town and somehow… tourists taking selfies with them, complete strangers offering them a ride in their sports cars and plenty of people stopping to wish them congratulations.

Who knew you could have quite so much fun on a short walk around Stratford?! 😂

They married surrounded by their closest family and friends before heading to The Arden Hotel for fizz, food and plenty more celebrating.

A wonderfully relaxed, happy afternoon with two people who are just an absolute joy to be around!

Can we take a moment to appreciate just how much this little guy loved his new role as big brother?

Endless cuddles, kisses and little hand holds throughout the morning. We even ended up taking some of her newborn portraits in his bedroom! Another gorgeous chapter documented for these guys. Thank you so much for having me back again 🥰

A little roundup of E&S’s very special wedding day 🤍

With 170 guests, their day was a beautiful marquee wedding at the Emily’s childhood home, with a church service just down the road at Charlecote Church.

So much of the day had been created by the family themselves. The bride’s parents had poured so much time and love into their beautiful garden to create the most perfect setting, the bride had grown the flowers for the tables and her brother had made the wedding cake. The rest of the flowers were courtesy of Oonagh O’Neill Florist , who created the most incredible displays at the church and throughout the day.

There were also some rather beautiful cars involved! One of my favourite moments was when these two took Emily’s dad’s classic car for a little drive through the fields. It had been restored especially for the wedding and had only passed its MOT a couple of days before. 😅

A day that felt so personal from beginning to end, with so many little details that made it completely theirs🤍

What an absolute vibe Saturday was at Park Farm weddings celebrating Charlotte and Craig!

Of course, a wedding day is all about the two of you. But it’s also about the people who make it what it is.

The two little flower girls who couldn’t have been more excited to watch Mummy and Daddy get married. The mums who created the most incredible flowers. Charlotte’s sister making a complete showstopper of a wedding cake. The wedding party bringing the whole vision together. Craig’s sisters stealing the show with the most unforgettable rap. Readings from nieces, nephews and best friends. And a room full of guests who brought the loudest cheers, a rather lively football match and the best dance floor energy!

It’s all of those little pieces, all the people that come together to create something so much bigger than a wedding day!

Moments from the most beautiful morning in the Cotswolds with this gorgeous family of four 🤍

I’ll always choose real moments over perfectly posed photos. The little hand holds, toddlers diving into squishy cuddles, kisses (soooo many kisses 🥰) and the way you naturally are together in the place that already means the most.

It will always be this for me.

One thing I always recommend when it comes to your group photos is leaving your wedding party until last.

That way we make sure we’ve captured all the important family photos first, the ones that will be treasured for years to come. Then, with the time we have left, we can have a bit of fun with your friends without anyone worrying about keeping grandparents or little ones waiting.

This is exactly what we did at Louise and Matt’s gorgeous sunny wedding at Park Farm. We mixed up the locations too, making the most of the beautiful barn doors, the blossoming tree and of course the car. I love giving your wedding party photos a bit of variety so they feel just as relaxed and full of fun as the rest of your day 🤍

These two chose to do things completely their own way, with an intimate wedding surrounded by just their closest family at the beautiful .

Alex arrived in style, driven to the venue by her father-in-law in his gorgeous vintage classic car, before the pair exchanged vows during a stunning outdoor ceremony on the lawn.

The rest of the day was spent exactly as they wanted it. Eating delicious food, enjoying the sunshine and simply soaking up time with their families especially their little boy who looked incredibly dapper in his little tux!

Getting to watch your babies grow will always be one of the biggest privileges of this job 🤍

I’ve photographed this lovely family a number of times now and every session feels less like a photoshoot and more like catching up with friends for an hour. Seeing familiar little faces, hearing what’s changed since the last time we met and documenting another chapter of their story will always be so special.

One minute they’re tiny babies in your arms and before you know it, they’re walking hand in hand with their sister in the bluebell woods full of personality and adventure 🫶

Bank Holiday Monday was all about these two at the beautiful Kilworth House 🤍

There were so many little details I loved throughout the day… Sam wearing his grandad’s watch, personalised bunnies dressed in their very own wedding outfits, Polaroid snaps documenting the day as it unfolded, and possibly the largest group of best men I’ve ever photographed (four in total!)

Mr and Mrs Wells, you guys were a dream! What a way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday!
