Get to know the SEEK residents before our next party on Friday 26 September! (Part 2)

Mrs Jones started her dance music journey on the dancefloors of UK raves and NYC clubs during the late ’80s and early ’90s, moving on to play vinyl in clubs and free parties under the name Frecks with the Sketch crew in Somerset, until she became disillusioned with the clubbing scene which prompted a break from DJing.

Still loving music and dancing, Mrs Jones returned to the decks to play the deep house music she loves; referencing US house and old school rave, selecting deep house cuts with feeling, love, soul, pain and hope.

She has DJ'd at the end of the iconic Glastonbury Festival Pier, at Shuffle events and Magic Hat Stand in Exeter. Now one of the founding members of SEEK, Bristol UK.

✨First up: Mikkaël ✨

Mikkaël brings together French roots and Bristol spirit to craft a warm, soulful take on house music that resonates with dancefloors everywhere.

His productions have been released on respected labels including Replay, Homesick, Dustpan, GreenHouse, and Kolour Recordings, with remix support from celebrated names such as Kinky Movement, Jonn Hawley, Tommy Largo, Jay West, and Sun City Hustlers.

From 2007 to 2012, he was a resident with the notorious Duvet Gang, the crew behind Bristol’s legendary Duvet Vous? nights that have kept the city moving for decades.

Today, alongside his solo releases, he is part of Bristol’s new wave as a resident at SEEK, where his sound continues to connect people through rhythm, energy, and emotion 🙌🏾
