Our Story

Salt was an independent café in central Bristol selling locally and ethically sourced food and drink. After 3 successful years in our first establishment we were unfortunately forced out by an unscrupulous landlord. We relocated to The Spin Bar for a short period and are now taking a hiatus for the birth of our baby in May 2019. Alan continues to book live music at The Spin Bar and at the Long Ashton Café and we will continue to provide event catering from late 2019 onwards. In the meantime, a huge thank you to everyone who supported us during the first three years - we made a lot of good friends and had some great times with you all. Alan & Alice
