Today I’m starting to share some art ideas. Last week I shared a list of things to draw, now I’m going to come up with a few techniques and ways you could draw them (or anything else you’d like to draw!)
Drawing without looking is such a fun way of drawing without any of the worry about what your picture looks like. Try to get the object(or person!) you'd like to draw in front of you or at least a photo of what you're drawing and look at this instead of at your paper. It's often easier to leave your pen on the paper so you don't lose your place!
You can draw anything although faces seemed to be a popular choice when I was searching for examples.
This activity is great for getting back into being creative after a break also a proven mindful drawing practice.
When we did it last week we extending the lines we'd drawn to make complete shapes and then coloured in the different sections too. This created some fun pictures and patterns! Can guess what we were drawing?!
