Just got the news we having waiting to hear for some time - we have finally completed on our new house purchase.

After living and working in Bolton all our lives in the next few weeks we are off to start the next chapter in Sheffield …

We have made loads of friends & had lots of fun with the bar in Bolton and will be taking with us fantastic memories.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the bar in the last couple of years and to everyone who has given us a hand - bar work is not easy and it was really appreciated Sarah Dursley Nicola M-y Eef Gallagher Niamh Gallagher Greg Taylor Megan Bennett Katie Brindle

Thanks to Ged Gallagher for putting up with my grumpy perfectionism - that’s what mates are for - apologies

Great afternoon / evening in Horwich celebrating the success of The Pure Companies Group with their staff, customers, suppliers and families.

My hearing has just about recovered from the bar being next to the live band - Coverbox.

It was a really enjoyable event. We always love watching our customers have a great time.

Shakermaker - The original - Our Vintage VW Oasis themed bar - the talking point of any party - can be hired outside with a gazebo or inside if you have space

Gin & Fizz - Our more sophisticated offering - Cocktails, Prosecco or maybe a Gin Tasting

Cask and Craft - For those who love Craft and Cask Ales - we will set up Keg dispensers to potentially give you chilled Keg Beers - IPAs, DDH, Porters, Sours, Golden Ales etc

All 3 can also operate simply as generic bars offering a range of drinks

Final post from Bolton Food and Drink Festival ( I promise )

A massive shout out to our dear friends at The Definitely Maybe Bar and their ever expanding hospitality empire now including The Green Room and soon to be the old Blind Tiger

Without them we would not be in business and it was great they could join us for a beer over the weekend - I have never seen so many Gallagher’s in one place

I don’t think we could have done anymore at the festival to promote their existing and new venues - I have lost my voice telling folk to give them a visit

I can’t wait to have a pint in the ( Bind Tiger ) listening to cracking live band 🎸🍺

I would wish them luck but there is no need as we all know they will smash it 👏👏👏

Summed up by Oasis nicely - Because we need each other 👍

Wow - what a weekend at Bolton Food and Drink Festival

We have been overwhelmed by all the positive feedback - Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us and enjoy a beer or cocktail.

Craft and Cask ran out of Thornbridge Brewery Helles Lager, Blackedge Brewing Company Ltd Pike Pale Ale and Schwarze Kante and virtually all the craft cider.

Gin and Fizz were kept busy with Cocktails - the people of Bolton love a Rum Punch.

After weeks of preparation it is great when it all comes together.

Don’t forget you can book one of our bars - Shakermaker ( our Oasis themed bar ) Craft & Cask and Gin & Fizz for your event- weddings, parties, celebrations and corporate events - we would love to join you.

A wonderful Sunday in the ☀️ Bolton Food and Drink Festival - it was great to see so many smiling faces in the town centre - Thanks to Bolton Council for their hard
work in making this event such a success

The bar was full most of the afternoon and thank you to everyone for their patience in the busy spells

Our helpers were great once again today and thanks to Greg Taylor Nicola M-y Katie Melissa and Megan Bennett who were all brilliant.

Craft ales were the drinks of the day - probably Thornbridge Brewery Lukas Helles Lager was the go to drink followed closely by Hawkshead Brewery Unfashionably Late - I think it can now be known as a session IPA 😉

Great to see friends old and new

I have also realised that I wasn’t destined to be a social media influencer - those that have seen my piece to camera will understand

Looking forward to seeing lots of folk tomorrow - come join us for a drink - you never know there might be a few discounts in the afternoon.

Another great day Bolton Food and Drink Festival - the sun was out ( mostly ) and quite a few cocktails and craft beers were consumed.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a drink today 🍹☀️🍺🥂 - it’s really appreciated - Very proud of all the team and to our extra helpers Nicola M-y and Sarah Dursley who worked extremely hard and coped admirably with card reader issues 👏👏

We go again tomorrow - please bring cash just in case

Great day at Bolton Food and Drink Festival - Craft Ales and Cocktails went down a storm - lovely to see so many smiling faces around town.
