The Chequers Inn The Chequers Inn is a popular 17th Century traditional pub, situated in the popular village of Binham as well as large party bookings.

The Chequers Inn is in the North Norfolk village of Binham, situated just 5 miles from Wells-next-the-sea, 7 miles from Holt and just 4 miles from Blakeney we are ideally located for any of those adventuring out into the prime of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Whether you're visiting the vey popular Binham Priory, bird watching at Blakeney, camping or caravanning in Wells or Holt, or just visiting the area our traditional village pub will fulfil your needs. If its a quick refreshment stop for a drink, or an evening out, The Chequers Inn will provide just what you need. Everyone is welcome to join us (including your dog!), with a traditional style long bar, you can sit inside by the fire in winter, or outside in our garden in the summer. We have a selection of traditional pub games you are welcome to try your hand at fro darts and draughts to old fashioned card games. allow a character and homely feel for you while you enjoy your drink or meal. Are you a keen chef or an enthusiastic baker?? Well we have a competition for you!!!

The Chequers Bake Off returns.

This year we have whittled it down to 4 classes:
• Best Young Baker (u14)
• Best Savoury Bake
• Best Small Bake
• The Showstopper Bake

Bakes must be in by 10:30 AM on Sunday 1st November. Ready to be judged at 11 AM.

All bakes will then be able to purchase with all funds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Showstoppers will be auctioned.

It might not look like much…. but it’s our first round of picking the chequers fruit.

In the next few weeks we’ll be slowly picking them ready for a Moon Gazer Ale brew in time for our Hop Blessing Party on Wednesday 18th November.

Definitely worth a visit to try something so unique.
