Hello everyone, Callum here

I wanna apologise for not posting any reviews this month, I have been having some personal issues to sort out. So I am letting you know there will be no reviews for the rest of the year.
I have already got a few lined up for next year so in the meantime, I will be uploading a few pub collections and I am gonna upload photos of all the pubs I have been to that are due to be uploaded onto Instagram starting from tomorrow, details will be in the album mentioned.

MacConnells Bar Glasgow: Medium sized pub around the corner from the Royal Scottish Conservative on the end of Hope Street and across from the King's Theatre. I heard of this pub from a few friends of mine as they used to live in Glasgow, as well as seeing it whenever I am on the bus back to Balfron. I also had plans to add this to my list earlier on, but never got the chance to, but I have popped in and like what I seen and will be back again

Opening Times:
The pub is open every day from 11am-11pm Monday-Thursday, 11am-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 12:30pm-11pm on Sundays
Service:
The service in this pub is really good as the bar is in the corner with an overall view of the place, so the staff can serve multiple customers wherever they are located
Entertainment:
The pub does entertainment mainly in the form of karaoke and live singers and quizzes, I am not sure if they do bingos or not, but they will advertise what is on
Social Activities:
The pub has a pool table, a jukebox, a darts board, a puggy and a couple of TVs
Food:
The pub doesn't do food as they don't have a kitchen on the premises, but there is a couple of restaurants along the road from the pub
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere in this pub feels nice as the décor inside has both a retro and modern flair mixed in to it. As well as that, despite being in the city centre, the pub feels more like a village pub that gives it that cosy feeling
People:
I don't speak to anyone whenever I come in here, but I have spoken to a few folk, both staff and customers and they are all really sound

The Imperial Bar: Medium sized pub down the road from Macsorley's at the same time, you are heading somewhat towards the Southside of Glasgow. I first heard of this place from a friend of mine who works in the Renfield Bar as he does a couple of shifts down there, so I went down to see what it is like and I do like what I have seen and will definitely be back again

Opening Times:
The pub is open every day from 11am-11pm Monday-Thursday, 11am-1am on Fridays and Saturdays and 12:30pm-11pm on Sundays
Service:
The service is really good as the bar is in the centre whilst being against the wall with an overall view of the place, so the staff can serve multiple customers wherever they are sitted
Entertainment:
The pub does entertainment in the form of karaoke, live singers and possibly quizzes and bingos. I remember one time I went down and there was karaoke on, but one of the punters asked not to be filmed, which is totally understandable and a bit disappointing as he stopped midway, but afterwards returned and finished the song. Despite that, it was a good night as the pub will advertise what is on throughout the week
Social Activities:
The pub doesn't have a pool table, a jukebox or a darts board, but they do have a puggy and a couple of TVs
Food:
The pub doesn't do food as they don't have a kitchen on the premises, but there is a McDonald's up the road as you are heading towards Macsorley's as well as various restaurants and takeaways nearby
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere in this pub is really nice as the décor makes the place feel old-fashioned with a modern contrast mixed in as well. As well as that, the pub feels hidden away albeit, it is easy to get to if you know where you're going in Glasgow
People:
I don't speak to anyone whenever I come in here, but I have spoken to a few people, both staff and customers and they are all really sound

The Counting House, Dumbarton: Medium/large pub on the high street across from a gym whilst being within walking distance from the sheriff court as well as the Captain James Lang, the Burgh Bar, the Lennox Bar and even the Glencairn. I have seen this place many times whenever I am on the bus coming to Dumbarton or heading to either Balloch, Alexandria or Glasgow as a friend of mine comes here sometimes. I have been in once before they refurbished the place, but have popped in since it reopened and it is a nice place to go to

Opening Times:
The pub is open every day from 11am-11pm Monday-Thursday, 11am-1am on Fridays and Saturdays and 11am-11pm on Sundays
Service:
The service is really good as the bar is nearly half the length of the premise, against the wall with an overall view of the place so the staff can serve multiple customers wherever they are located
Entertainment:
The pub does entertainment in the form of karaoke, quizzes and bingos. I wasn't sure if they did as it looks like they didn’t have the space for it, but they do and will advertise what is on
Social Activities:
The pub doesn't have a jukebox, but they do have a pool table, a couple of darts boards, a couple of puggies and numerous TVs
Food:
The pub does do food in the form of bar meals since they have a restaurant area when you go through the door. I have tried the food and although it is reasonably expensive, it is worth the price as it is lovely. As well as that, it has a similar menu to the Chase Inn in Kirkintilloch which I have also tried and enjoyed
Atmosphere:
Since the pub has been refurbished, the décor has made the place feel fresh and warm as the colour scheme they have helps give off a cosy vibe. As well as that, because it is pretty big, they also have a beer garden at the back, which people can use when the weather's good
People:
I don’t speak to anyone whenever I come in here, but I would engage in conversation if anyone did speak to me

The Glencairn: Medium sized pub/restaurant located along the corner of the High Street heading towards the bridge over the river Leven whilst en route towards Dalreoch train station. I have heard of this place as a friend of mine told me about it, as well as seeing ot whenever I was on the bus from Dumbarton going to either Balloch or Alexandria. So I decided to give this place a try one day when I had a session in Dumbarton and I do like the place that I would definitely go back to

Opening Times:
The pub is open every day from 11am-midnight Monday-Thursday, 11am-11pm on Fridays, 11am-1am on Saturdays and 12:30pm-midnight on Sundays
Service:
The service is really good as because it is mainly a restaurant, they do have that pub element as the bar is in the corner and against the wall as you enter the door, so the staff can serve customers of they are in for just a drink
Entertainment:
I don't think they do any entertainment as it is mainly a restaurant, despite having a lounge as part of the premise. I think they use the lounge mostly for private functions, unless the pub either still does or used to do entertainment, I don't know on that one
Social Activities:
As it is a restaurant, the pub doesn't have a pool table, a jukebox, a darts board or a puggy, but they do have a TV in the bar for those who are just having a drink
Food:
Despite not having any social activities or entertainment, the pub does food as I have mentioned before, it is mainly a restaurant in the form of bar meals as well as takeaway. I have tried the food and although it is reasonably priced, the food is really nice as it definitely fills you up, so you will get fed well in here
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere in this pub is really nice. Since it is mainly a restaurant, it does still have that pub vibe Where you can go in and have either a drink or a bite to eat and still be able to enjoy the vibe that is being given off
People:
I don’t speak to anyone whenever I come in here, but I have spoken to a few folk in here, both staff and customers and they are all really sound

The Captain James Lang: A nice looking Wetherspoons pub located within walking distance from the Burgh Bar and the Lennox Bar whilst en route to the Counting House. I have seen this pub loads of times when I am in Dumbarton as one of my friends from the Winnock was gonna work there before coming back, as several friends from the Vale go here as well, so I went in and it is a nice place to drink in

Opening Times:
The pub is open every day from 8am-midnight
Service:
The service is really good as the bar, being a Wetherspoons can accommodate lots of customers on any day
Entertainment:
Unfortunately, because it is a Wetherspoons pub, they don't do entertainment, which is disappointing
Social Activities:
Since it is a Wetherspoons, they don't have a pool table, a jukebox and a darts board, but they do have a puggy and a couple of TVs
Food:
They do food in the form of bar meals as it is one of Wetherspoons major aspects as well as serving breakfast, which did surprise me. I have tried the food and despite it being expensive, it is very enjoyable
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is pretty good as, being a Wetherspoons pub, it feels very accommodating especially as it is located within walking distance from the Burgh Bar and the Lennox Bar, so it gives me another place to go to for a drink
People:
I don't really speak to anyone whenever I come here as I mainly intend of having one or two before heading back to Glasgow or Alexandria, but I would engage in conversation if anyone did speak to me

The Kirky Puffer: A nice looking Wetherspoons pub located next to the Forth and Clyde across the road from Cowgate, near Farmfoods and within walking distance from the Lion and Star. I have seen this pub a few times when I am in Kirkintilloch as a friend of mine mentioned it to me and since it is a Wetherspoons, figured I give it a try and it is a nice place to drink in

Service:
The service is really good as the bar, being a Wetherspoons can accommodate lots of customers on any day

Unfortunately, because it is a Wetherspoons pub, they don't do entertainment, which is disappointing
